Common questions
Before you start
Is this only for seniors?
No. We have two paths — one for adults 52–72 building their own legacy, and one for adult children 35–55 who want to help a parent get their affairs in order. Both lead to the same complete plan.
Do I need a medical exam?
Often no. Many final expense and term carriers offer accelerated underwriting — no exam, decision in days. Your advisor will tell you upfront what each carrier requires.
What does it cost?
Nothing to build the plan. Your advisor matches you to carriers across coverage and budget — you only pay for the coverage you choose. There's no fee to work with VeraLife.
What about the legal documents?
We partner with LawDepot for wills, POA, and healthcare directives. You can start a free trial directly from your portal after your plan is active.
What happens to my plan when I pass away?
Your family accesses your Legacy Plan Bundle through the portal — coverage details, funeral preferences, legal documents, and your written wishes are all in one place, ready to use.
